Mother’s Day Gift Guide 2020

  1. Potholders or Kitchen Towels: These potholders are a great option because they are silicone and will hopefully last a while.
  2. A house plant: I like this plant because it can purify your air and it is relatively easy to take care of. I am considering getting one for our bedroom but really, you can’t go wrong with any sort of plant! If they don’t have a green thumb, you could always go with a faux plant as well.
  3. Something for their hobby: It could be running shoes, rock climbing gear, knitting needles, the options are endless! My mom actually hates the word hobby but if I wasn’t getting her money for furniture I might consider this book. It is about bird watching which has become one of her “hobbies” lately.
  4. Calendar/Photo book: One gift my sister gives my mom every year is a custom calendar. Mom’s love sentimental/homemade gifts but sometimes as adults it can be tricky to come up with those type of ideas. A photo book or calendar is a great personalized gift!
  5. Pedicure/Spa Gift Card: Sometimes an experience is the best thing you can give them! Let them feel pampered every once in a while.
  6. Cookbook: I have been eyeing Joanna Gaines new cookbook that just came out and everything in there looks delicious!
  7. Breakfast in bed: This may be more of an idea for spouses to give to their wife unless you still live at home to give to your mom but it is a free or inexpensive way to help your wife feel special!

Hope that helps get you thinking about some ideas your mom would appreciate! How grateful I am for my mom!

Happy Mother’s day!
