Dan’s 2023 Not-To-Do List

Instead of making a list of all the things I will do, I like to make a list of all the things I won’t. It helps clarify what needs to be done.

  1. I won’t focus on anything else until Centsei brings in 35 clients a month.
  2. I won’t sacrifice defined and set apart family time for work.
  3. I won’t skip important exercise habits like a daily walk, drinking a gallon of water, and a strength workout.
  4. I won’t eat more than 2500 calories per day.
  5. I won’t let 3 months go by without visiting a Temple for my church.
  6. I won’t be passive about my friendships in 2023. I won’t let important relationships die.
  7. I won’t dwell emotionally on business or personal problems needlessly.
  8. I won’t ignore the systems that create problems.
  9. I won’t stop putting Centsei’s clients first. We won’t stop focusing on helping as many people as possible pay off debt, gain a 3-6 month emergency fund, invest 15% and own a piece of real estate if desired.
  10. I won’t forget where I came from – the wells I’ve drunk from that I did not dig. The blessing I enjoy from the people and organizations that have sacrificed and given me so much. I will not forget.

I would suggest writing your own “Not-to-do” list. It’s instructive, insightful, and empowering.
