Dan’s 2021 Book List

We read a lot of books, and honestly, I can trace most of what we can call success in our lives to the books we have read.

If you do not read consistently currently, how can you develop? What are you ignorant of that you don’t know you’re ignorant of?

Fear of new knowledge leaves us stuck and depressed.

Read or listen to 10 pages/10 minutes of a good book each day and I PROMISE your life will improve from the ideas, thoughts, and benefits that will come from the insights you open yourself to.

10 minutes or 10 pages of a good book each day. That’s all you need to do.

Each title is clickable.

Yes, that one. (Mary Poppins and Sound of Music)

The Ride of a Lifetime: Lessons I Learned from 15 Years as the CEO of the Walt Disney Company

The memoir from the Disney CEO who worked with Steve Jobs acquired the rights to Marvel, Star Wars, and more. This book is a fun ride.

Sapiens by Yuval Noah Harari

I will be writing about this in my next Financial Friday, but I’ve never read a book like this on the history of humanity. It’s given me a lot to think about.

Mindset by Dr. Carol Dweck

The most important book I read in 2021 by far. Change how you think, and you change your life.

Never Split the Difference by Chris Voss

The best book on negotiation I’ve ever read. And I’ve read over 5 if that says anything.

Atomic Habits by James Clear

Favorite quote from this book:

“We don’t rise to the level of our goals, we fall to the level of our systems.” – James Clear

The Psychology of Money by Morgan Housel

A refreshing realistic taste on money. If you care about your personal finances it’s worth the read.

Joseph Smith Rough Stone Rolling by Richard Bushman

We’re members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. This book is a historical biography by a Harvard Professor on the church’s earliest modern leader. As in all areas of life, I enjoy learning more about my faith. For me, this was 100% worth the read.

Traffic Secrets by Russell Brunson

If you own a business with a website, you have to drive traffic to your website. This book was all about how to do that. After implementing what he suggested, I can say these ideas work!

Dad’s Who Stay and Fight by Greg Trimble

Fatherhood and being a Husband are my most important careers.

Conclusion

All of these books influenced me and helped me to grow.

You’ll benefit from reading all of them.

Read or listen to 10 pages or 10 minutes of a good book each day.

I promise it will make all the difference.
